VISTA scores high marks on member satisfaction survey for
State of Florida employees
SUNRISE – (February 19, 2007) – Vista Healthplan, Inc. (VISTA) announced today
that it received high marks on a health plan satisfaction survey that was
distributed to VISTA members who are employed by the State of Florida. In
effort to understand the unique health benefit needs of one of its largest
commercial group accounts and adhere to its contracts with the state, VISTA
hired an independent market research and consulting firm to randomly survey
State of Florida employees. An overwhelming majority of survey respondents –
95% – gave VISTA a positive overall satisfaction rating.
“VISTA continually strives to provide its members with the best health plan
experience possible,” said Cathy Aguirre, vice president of account services.
“This survey provides vital intelligence to let us know the areas in which we
are succeeding; as well as those we need to enhance.” The two page satisfaction
survey was randomly mailed to 3,000 of the 15,000 State of Florida employees
who are VISTA members; with 27% responding. Key findings from the survey are
shown in the chart below.
