VISTA announces grant program to benefit nonprofit groups
SUNRISE, FL –(August 5, 2009)– VISTA announced today that the company is accepting applications from nonprofit organizations for the 2009 VISTA Community Grants Program. VISTA will begin accepting applications immediately from 501(c)(3) organizations that meet specific criteria, eligibility requirements and guidelines.
The VISTA Community Grants Program supports charitable organizations whose programs and /or services contribute to improving the health of the community in one or more of the following areas: preventive health, health education, disease management, community health initiatives/outreach, improving health care services, controlling health care costs or reducing the number of persons who do not have health insurance. Applications will be accepted until November 2, 2009. The grant guidelines and application are available online at www.vistahealthplan.com – click on “Our Company” and select “Community Relations” from the drop down menu.
